TENT CITY FESTIVAL

The first weekend of February.  Annual celebration of the Gold Rush days in Wrangell on the Stikine River.  Contests, Tent City theatrical performances, fashion shows, fancy dress ball and closest to the Pin Annual Muskeg Meadows Golf Tournament.

GARNET FESTIVAL

Third week of April.  Week long celebration of spring in Wrangell and annual spring Bald Eagle gathering on the Stikine River (largest spring concentration).  Includes Southeast Alaska Art Festival, Golf Tournament, Music, Jet Boating, fish fry, workshops and speakers.

MUSKEG MEADOWS

Golf Tournaments take place every weekend from May through September.  Driving range is open also.

ANNUAL KING SALMON DERBY

Mid May through Mid June.   A month long competition for the biggest King Salmon caught in Wrangell Waters.  Over $25,000 in cash and prizes available for winners and runners up.  Special weekly prizes add to the frenzied competition.

JULY 4TH CELEBRATION

July 2-4, Best 3 day celebration in Alaska!  Includes kids races of all kinds, scrap fish derby, sporting events, talent shows, tall tale competition, races, golf tournaments, town food booths, parade and fireworks extravaganza. 

HARVEST FESTIVAL

Late October.  Friday evening set aside for holiday shopping, food and downtown festivities.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

First Friday in December.  Tree lighting, Christmas celebration, homemade food, arts and crafts.
